Lexington
Studio Records ADR for 20th Century Fox
Dynamix
Productions, of 601 Perimeter Drive in Lexington, recently recorded audio
dialogue replacement (ADR) for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming movie Hide & Seek starring Robert De Niro
and Dakota Fanning. While filming
another movie in the Bluegrass, actress Dakota Fanning
stopped in Dynamix Production’s studios to complete ADR work for several
scenes.
In
ADR, the talent watches video from the film and then re-records the dialogue,
sometimes adding or changing lines. Miss
Fanning and ADR supervisor Bob Kiser, of 20th Century Fox, were at
Dynamix and digitally linked to the ADR stage in Hollywood via ISDN connection. From California, Director John Polson
was able to watch the scenes as Miss Fanning performed new dialogue. Dynamix Productions recorded the session and
delivered all work to 20th Century Fox for post-production editing.
Dakota
Fanning’s other credits include Man on
Fire, The Cat in the Hat, and
numerous others. In 2001 Miss Fanning
received the Best Young Actor/Actress award from the Broadcast Film Critics
Association for her performance in I Am
Sam. The movie Hide & Seek is expected to be released in January 2005.
