Manager of Audio Services (1992 to 2003). Managed a multi-room recording facility servicing local and national clients; oversaw budgets; developed long-range operational and marketing goals; in 1992 designed and built one of Kentucky’s first all-digital studios.
Recording Engineer (January 1989 to 2003). Produced and engineered soundtracks for: radio and television programs, advertising, sports programming, music, corporate communications, Internet, tape restoration, books on tape, and multimedia.

Recording Engineer. Experience gained in location recording; film sound dubbing, editing, re-recording and synchronization; and lighting/set. Some projects entailed writing, arranging, and recording original music.

BIO
Neil Kesterson was first exposed to recording while a teenager in the 1970’s by his guitar teacher who had a small studio in his basement. While attending Pikeville College’s music school, he recorded ensemble performances. After transferring to the University of Kentucky, he consulted with the Singletary Center staff for their first performance recordings, and also worked part-time at WUKY-FM (then WBKY). After college, he consulted in the planning and construction phases of UK’s WRFL-FM radio.
Throughout his professional career, Mr. Kesterson has worked in most aspects of the recording field, but also has experience in multi-media design; film and video editing; music composition, arranging, and conducting; and photography. He has won numerous local, national and international awards, including 48 since opening Dynamix Productions in 2003. Some projects of note include:

o Dialog recording for films Hide & Seek, Beauty Shop, and Strange Wilderness
o 100 Years of Kentucky Basketball. Audio Producer for 2 DVD set.

o The Keeneland Legacy. Audio producer for DVD and broadcast documentary.
o The Johnny Cash Anthology. Post-production engineer for PBS documentary.
o The Dick Vitale Alarm Clock. Audio producer for novelty alarm clock.
